DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the left-hand side panel. It is the cleaner of the two, because nothing on this side of the Diavel V4 has to be routed around — the exhaust lives on the right. That makes it the larger uninterrupted carbon surface of the pair and the one that photographs best.
Key Features
- Left side only — the right panel is the separate order code MD-DI22-C36
- Four configurations in 200 Plain: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
- Larger uninterrupted surface than the right panel, with no exhaust cut-out
- Replaces the painted original on the standard fixing points
- The side most Diavel photographs are taken from, which is why it is often bought first
Buying One Side First
Because the panels are sold separately, there is a legitimate strategy in starting with this one. It is the side without the exhaust cut-out, it is the side a motorcycle is usually photographed from, and it gives you a full-size sample of how the weave and finish read on your own bike before committing to the right panel as well.
The caveat is production batches. If the second panel is bought much later it may differ subtly in surface depth, and on parts that sit symmetrically that difference is findable. If both are certain, order them together.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Diavel V4, 2023 to 2026, left side, on the original mounting points. Not interchangeable with the right panel — the two have different geometry.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval for this panel. It is a replacement body component; confirm the position for your registration before road use.
Buying One Panel First
Because the two sides are sold separately, starting with this one is a defensible strategy rather than an incomplete job. It gives you a full-size sample of how the weave and the finish read on your own paint, in your own light, before committing to the second panel and everything that follows it.
The one caveat is timing. Carbon from different production runs can differ subtly in surface depth, and on two panels that sit symmetrically at eye level a critical eye will find it. If both are certain, order them together; if you are testing the water, accept that the match may not be perfect later.
