DescriptionThe whole story▼

Nothing on a GSR750 hides behind bodywork, so the two caps on top of the forks are as visible parked outside a cafe as they are lined up in a track day paddock. Accossato's AD014 puts a 14 mm hex adjuster at each of those caps, CNC-machined aluminium anodised in seven colours, built for the preload function on the GSR750 of 2011 to 2016.

Key Features

  • Fork preload adjusters for the Suzuki GSR750, 2011 to 2016
  • Sold as a pair, one per fork leg
  • 14 mm hex key size
  • CNC-machined aluminium, anodised
  • Seven colours: blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium, gold
  • Adjusts fork spring preload
  • Swingarm stand bobbins listed for the same bike
  • No German ABE on file; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato cuts the AD014 from aluminium on CNC machines, then anodises the pair in blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium or gold. A 14 mm key turns the hex, which is the only measurement Accossato quotes, and the adjusters replace the standard caps at the top of the fork legs, acting only on the preload set into the fork springs.

Set-Up for Track Days

Riders who take a naked GSR750 to a circuit often spend the first sessions finding a preload setting that keeps the front end settled through fast direction changes. Reaching the AD014 only takes a hex key, so that search happens in the pit lane between sessions rather than calling for the forks to come apart. The actual settings, how far to turn and from what baseline, come from the GSR750's own manual or from notes kept at an earlier track day, not from guesswork carried over from a different bike, and the same hex key covers both caps so there is nothing extra to carry to the pit lane.

Fitment and Compatibility

The GSR750 years on Accossato's list for the AD014 run from 2011 to 2016, and the adjuster goes straight into the standard location on each fork leg. This same 14 mm part is also catalogued for the BMW S1000RR, the Suzuki GSX-S750 and Ducati's Multistrada 1200. For the GSR750 itself, Accossato also supplies the ST002 and ST008 swingarm stand bobbins.

Road Approval

We have no German ABE or other approval document for the AD014, so it is sold for racing and competition use.
