DescriptionThe whole story▼
When race-bred performance is non-negotiable, the Shark Aeron RS Speed-Tech DAK delivers it without compromise. Built from a carbon and aramid fibre shell and certified to ECE 22.06, this is a full-face helmet engineered for riders who demand track-level precision in every detail — finished in a purposeful matte black and anthracite Speed-Tech DAK graphic from the 2025–2026 collection.
Key Features
- Carbon and aramid fibre construction — exceptional rigidity with reduced neck load at speed
- ECE 22.06 certified — meets the latest international safety standard for road and track
- 2 shell sizes across 4 EPS densities — aerodynamically precise fit engineered for racing ergonomics
- Anti-fog, scratch-resistant visor with tear-off compatibility — clear vision under race conditions
- Visor locking system prevents unintended opening at high speed
- Integrated rear spoiler actively reduces lift and stabilises the helmet at high velocity
- 5 intake vents and 7 exhaust outlets — sustained airflow at track pace
Shell & Safety Construction
The Shark Aeron RS shell combines carbon fibre with aramid reinforcement to achieve a structure that is simultaneously light and extremely rigid. This dual-material approach distributes impact forces efficiently across the shell, protecting against both sharp and flat impacts. The four-density EPS liner works in concert with the shell to manage deceleration forces in a crash, while the double-D retention system — the proven standard in motorcycle racing — ensures the helmet stays precisely in place under any condition.
Visor System & Aerodynamics
Track use places unique demands on visor performance. The Shark Aeron RS visor features anti-fog and scratch-resistant treatments to maintain clarity lap after lap. The compact visor mechanism operates with precise, low-effort action, and the dedicated tear-off posts allow riders to run laminated tear-offs for maximum visibility in deteriorating conditions. The locking system eliminates any risk of visor flutter or unintended opening at racing speeds. At the rear, the integrated aerodynamic spoiler manages airflow to reduce lift and deliver genuine stability — a tangible benefit when approaching 250 km/h on a straight.
Interior Comfort & Ventilation
Inside the Shark Aeron RS, Morpho-Pads provide three-dimensional padding that conforms to individual head shapes for a secure, pressure-free fit over long sessions. The antimicrobial, breathable liner keeps conditions hygienic across race weekends, and the removable cheek and ear pads make cleaning straightforward. Spectacle wearers benefit from a glasses-friendly design that eliminates pressure points on the frame arms. An emergency quick-release system allows trained first responders to remove the helmet safely without rotating it. The ventilation circuit — five intakes feeding seven exhaust channels — circulates a constant stream of cool air through the interior, reducing heat build-up during sustained hard riding.
Speed-Tech DAK Design
The Speed-Tech DAK colourway pairs matte black with anthracite in a graphic that is confident and purposeful rather than decorative. The matte finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the helmet a low-key, premium quality that reads as understated on the paddock and on the road in equal measure. This is a design built to complement the performance beneath it — not to distract from it.

“This is the road Aeron, not the GP. Same family, different shell, and no FIM homologation — it will not pass race scrutineering. For open track days the airflow alone makes it worth the look.”
— the Inter-Pace crewECE 22.06 only — the racing homologation is the GP's.
