Suomy calls the outer shell material Tricarboco, and the name reflects its tripartite composite architecture: carbon fibre for stiffness and weight savings, aramid fibre for penetration resistance and energy absorption, and fibreglass to bind the structure and manage torsional loads. The result is a shell that is light enough to reduce neck fatigue on long days yet rigid enough to meet the demands of race-track use. Producing the shell in two sizes — rather than a single universal shape — means the internal EPS liner and the shell geometry are proportionally matched to your head circumference, a detail that matters both for comfort and for consistent protection geometry.
Aerodynamics and High-Speed Stability
The TX-Pro's silhouette was shaped in a wind tunnel rather than a design studio. At the speeds where aerodynamic forces become a real workload on the rider's neck, the shell profile channels air cleanly around the helmet, eliminating the lift and oscillation that plague less considered designs. The result is a composed, planted feel in a tucked racing position — whether on a fast motorway run or a track straight.
