How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Airoh's GP 800 was conceived with the long-haul rider firmly in mind. The three-shell sizing philosophy means the helmet fits your head's actual dimensions rather than relying on excessive padding to bridge size gaps — a detail that pays dividends after hour three on the motorway or the twelfth lap of a circuit session. The AMLS magnetic liner attachment makes removing and refitting the interior a one-hand job, while the AEFR system allows emergency personnel to extract the liner rapidly should the need arise.
Ventilation and Climate Control
The multi-channel ventilation network works in concert with the breathable Coolmax fabric liner to regulate temperature through the full range of riding conditions. Moisture is drawn away from the skin, processed by the 2DRY treatment and expelled through the rear exhaust vents, keeping your focus on the road rather than the heat inside your helmet.
Visor System
The 2D Racing visor offers an extra-wide field of view and arrives scratch-resistant, UV-resistant and compatible with tear-off film for track use. The A3S (Airoh Automatic Antifog System) integrates seamlessly with the included Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision lens, providing dependable optical clarity even in cold, humid conditions. A dark smoke visor is also included in the box, and the Lock System Racing retainer ensures the visor stays firmly seated at any speed.
