DescriptionThe whole story▼

This is the seat cover that includes the subframe section rather than sitting on top of it, which makes it a larger part than the usual pillion cowl and a more complete answer. The pillion seat comes off, this goes on, and the rear of the motorcycle becomes a single continuous carbon surface from the rider's seat to the tail light.

Key Features

  • Seat cover including the subframe section, direct replacement
  • 245 Twill weave in clear coat, matt or raw
  • Autoclave-cured laminate over a compound shape with a long rear overhang
  • Uses the original mounting points, pillion seat retained for refitting
  • Raw carbon is the lightest and least expensive of the three

Cover, Not Structure

The name causes confusion, so it is worth being explicit: this part covers the subframe area. It does not replace the subframe, which is a separate and considerably more expensive article. Nothing structural is removed when this is fitted.

That is the reason it is the sensible purchase for a road motorcycle. It produces the single-seat look with no consequence for the vehicle's structure and no question about load-bearing components.

Fitment and Compatibility

BMW S1000RR, model years 2023 to 2026, on the original fixings. It does not fit the 2019-2022 machines. The equivalent for those years is listed separately as a cover without the subframe section.

Road Approval

Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Covering the pillion position can affect what the vehicle is registered to carry, so confirm the position for your own registration before road use.

A Surface at Hand Height

Seat covers get touched more than any other panel except the tank. People lean on them, riders grip them when reversing the motorcycle out of a space, and bags get set down on them in the paddock.

Matt handles that best and keeps the tail reading as one dark form. Raw is close behind and costs least. Clear coat is beautiful and will carry fingerprints from the first time anyone pushes the motorcycle backwards.
