DescriptionThe whole story▼
Riders who take a Kawasaki KX450F into sand, mud and dusty trails know the rear caliper takes the worst of it. Accossato's AGPP106 rear pad in the Off-road sintered mixture fits the KX450F from 2006 to 2018 and is Accossato's dedicated dirt compound. It is aimed at riders who spend long days on abrasive terrain and want a rear pad built for those conditions.
Key Features

- Accossato's formula for off-road riding
- For sand, mud and dusty trails
- Suits long days on rough terrain
- Also produced on this plate as OR and ST

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato keeps its description simple: this is its compound for off-road riders. On the rear of a KX450F, which is hit by everything the rear tyre throws up, a pad designed for dirty conditions is a logical choice. Accossato builds its pads to limit heat and fading while stopping reliably. The STMX material is bonded to the regular AGPP106 plate. Today the company is based in Villastellone, near Turin.
A Long Day on Dusty Trails
Long days on dry trails create a fine dust that works its way into the rear caliper and coats the disc. On sand, the grinding is even worse. The STMX set is intended to cope with that abuse on the KX450F while keeping the rear pedal usable from start to finish.
At the end of the day, clean the caliper and check that the pads slide freely. Look for grooves on the disc and check the pad thickness. Grit trapped between the pad and the piston can hold the brake on slightly, so a thorough clean pays off.
Fitment and Compatibility
This STMX set fits the back of KX450F machines from 2006 to 2018 in Accossato's records. Trail riders who replace everything at once can add AGPA51, Accossato's front reference for 2006 to 2022, and DK060, the disc it offers for the bike. The package is sized for the rear caliper, which is a single unit on this Kawasaki. Put a worn pad next to a new one to confirm the shape before fitting.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German approval document for AGPP106STMX in our records. It is sold for off-road competition.
