DescriptionThe whole story▼

The F900GS was drawn with dirt in mind, yet a great many owners meet their favourite corners on tarmac. A wide handlebar and a long fork give a tall adventure machine its own way of going quickly along a mountain road, and the front brake works harder there than most riders expect. Accossato's EV1 street/track material in the AGPA92 pad is made for that sort of riding, and for the owner who has booked a first open session on a circuit with the same bike. It is listed for the BMW F900GS of 2024 to 2026.

Key Features

  • AGPA92EV1: front pads in the EV1 street/track material
  • For the BMW F900GS built between 2024 and 2026
  • Accossato names road riding and amateur track use as the purpose
  • Sits between the everyday materials and those kept for racing
  • A box equals one caliper; this bike carries a caliper on either front disc
  • Sibling article numbers cover the OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC materials
  • Rear pads for the same machine are catalogued as AGPP91
  • No German ABE documented, intended for closed circuits

Construction and Material Quality

What you choose with this article number is the friction material, since the plate itself is shared across the whole AGPA92 family. Accossato credits the EV1 street/track mix with strong grip on the public road and in amateur track sessions, which is a narrower promise than a pure race material makes and a more useful one for a bike that also has to get home afterwards. Stopping power is the property the firm puts first. Fading is the other side of the same coin: a material asked to work hot needs to keep its bite once the heat is in it, otherwise the lever travels further each time down the same hill. A pair of pads fills a single caliper, no more.

A Tall Bike on a Fast Road

Ride an F900GS briskly on a road you know and the front brake starts doing work it never sees on the way to the shops. The bike stands high, the fork is long, and weight moves forward in a way that a low sports machine does not repeat, so the front tyre is loaded heavily and then unloaded again at every corner. Trail braking on a soft fork asks for a lever that answers in proportion, not one that arrives all at once. The same is true of a first session on a circuit, where you brake from higher speeds and repeat it every minute or so instead of every few kilometres of country road. Give new pads a handful of gentle stops before the fast part of the day, let them bed against the disc, and after a long run stop for a few minutes and look at what is left of the friction material. Tall bikes flatter their riders on the brakes; the pads keep the honest record.

Fitment and Compatibility

Only one machine stands behind this article number: the BMW F900GS, which BMW writes as F 900 GS and which Accossato lists from 2024 to 2026. Two front calipers mean two boxes for a complete job, and both sides should be done in one go. If the road-and-track character is not what your riding asks for, the same shape is made in four other materials, and the AGPP91 covers the rear of the F900GS across the identical years.

Road Approval

We have no approval paperwork for the AGPA92EV1: no German ABE, no test mark. It is sold for use on closed circuits and in competition.

Scope of Delivery

A single box holding two AGPA92 pads in the EV1 street/track material, enough for one front caliper.
