LS2 FF811 Vector II Carbon Helmet – Tantic Red/Hi-Vis Yellow

Tantic is the only decor in the range with this layout — flowing bands rather than the angular Grid or the torn Savage shapes. Red and fluorescent yellow run together closely enough that at speed they blend into a single orange glow.

A carbon shell in six sizes

LS2 builds the Vector II Carbon around a 6K woven carbon shell. The gain is not just a number on a spec sheet: 1400 grams is roughly a fifth less than a typical fibreglass full-face, and your neck notices it after two hours.

LS2 tools six shell sizes for this model. It is the expensive way to build a helmet and the reason the proportions look right across the whole range instead of only in the middle.

About the Tantic Red/Hi-Vis Yellow finish

The red and hi-vis yellow are laid down side by side with soft transitions, which is why the helmet reads orange from a distance and resolves into two distinct colours up close. It is the warmest decor LS2 offers on this shell and the only one using the Tantic pattern, so it will not be mistaken for anything else in a car park.

Airflow that reaches your head

Air enters at the chin and the crown and leaves through the rear extractors — LS2 calls it Dynamic Flow-Through. Channels moulded into the EPS carry the air across your scalp instead of letting it stall at the shell.

Three visors, one helmet

You get an extra-large field of view through a hardcoated, UV-resistant screen, plus the Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert included as standard. The quick-release mechanism swaps it without tools.

Inside sits a second, tinted visor on a temple slider. Down for low winter sun, fully away when it clouds over — and because it retracts into the EPS it does not steal room from your head.

Holding on, and letting go

The chin strap closes with a micrometric metal ratchet — you set the length once, then it is one click each ride. The liner has an emergency release so first responders can take the cheek pads out without moving your head.

The bit you actually touch

Inside, laser-cut foam and an X-Static silver-treated fabric that is breathable, hypoallergenic and fully removable for washing. It is also wired for the current LS2 Bluetooth system.
