How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Alizer layers silver over white in overlapping planes, matt-finished so the two tones separate by texture as much as by colour. It is the most restrained graphic LS2 offers on this shell.
A four-star shell in six sizes
LS2 builds this one from HPFC, a fibreglass composite laid up for stiffness rather than bulk. At 1500 g it is light for a full-face with a drop-down sun visor, and it is the shell SHARP put through its impact programme.
The range is spread across six shells rather than the usual pair. A size S is genuinely a small helmet, not a medium with more foam inside, and the proportions stay right all the way up to XXXXL.
About the Alizer Matt White/Silver finish
Because silver and white sit so close together tonally, this reads almost as a plain white helmet until light hits it at an angle and the Alizer panels appear. That makes it a good middle ground: the visibility benefit of a light-coloured helmet, with enough going on that it does not look like a rental. Matt white does need cleaning more often than gloss.
Airflow that reaches your head
The Dynamic Flow-Through layout pulls air from the forehead and chin vents along channels in the EPS and out at the back, with a breath deflector below to keep the visor clear.
Two visors in the box, a third inside the shell
The main visor is wide, scratch-resistant and UV-stable, with a quick-release mechanism that swaps it without tools. Both the Pinlock 120 MaxVision insert and a second, tinted visor are in the box.
Inside sits a second tinted screen on a temple slider, stowed entirely within the shell when you do not need it. It works over glasses and saves carrying sunglasses.
Holding on, and letting go
Micrometric metal buckle, reinforced chin strap, multi-density EPS, emergency cheek-pad release, and a four-star SHARP rating from February 2025. Certimoov's separate assessment put it at 3.5 out of 5 overall.
The bit you actually touch
The liner is breathable and hypoallergenic, lifts out completely for washing, and goes back in without a fight. Recesses for LS2's current Bluetooth system are already moulded into the EPS.
