Wheels are the most effective single upgrade for how a sportbike steers, accelerates and brakes. Cutting rotating and unsprung mass sharpens turn-in, lets the suspension follow the surface more precisely and reduces the gyroscopic forces that resist quick direction changes. Material choice defines the character of the upgrade. Forged aluminium offers the best balance of stiffness, durability and everyday usability for road and trackday riding.
