Cheek pads do most of the work in holding a helmet steady, and they are also the first thing in a Skwal Cup to pack down. This is the factory replacement set: a left and a right pad in the same removable, washable Alveotech lining Shark fits at the factory, so a helmet that has gone loose after a couple of seasons gets its original grip back instead of being written off.

Which of the two do I need
Shark does not make a separate cheek pad for every helmet size. One pad thickness covers several sizes, and the two numbers in this family split the range unevenly for that reason. One covers XS, M, L and XXL; the other covers S and XL. Pick the one that lists your helmet size, not the one whose list looks tidier. If you are between sizes or want a firmer fit, the adjacent option is the usual way riders tune the hold without changing helmets.
Fitment
The price list names the Skwal Cup directly for this number. The pads are cut to that shell and its cheek geometry; they are not interchangeable with the Skwal i3 or the D-Skwal 3, whose interiors share a look but not a pattern.
Fitting
The pads locate on studs at the front and slide into a rail along the lower edge of the shell. Work the rail first and the studs last, and check that the chin strap passes through the slot in the pad rather than behind it. A strap routed behind the pad will feel fine at a standstill and will not hold in a crash.
