OZ has supplied wheels to championship-winning WorldSBK teams for decades, and the Gass RS-A transfers that engineering discipline directly into a road-legal package. The forged aluminium process aligns the grain structure of the alloy under extreme pressure, producing a wheel that is simultaneously lighter and stronger than a conventional cast item. On the S1000RR K46, where chassis balance is already razor-sharp, the reduced gyroscopic effect of the Gass RS-A makes turn-in feel effortless and mid-corner direction changes more intuitive.

Finish and Durability

Each wheel leaves the OZ facility in Rossano Veneto having undergone an anodising process that penetrates the aluminium surface rather than sitting on top of it. The result is a finish that resists chipping, peeling and road-salt corrosion across the four available colour treatments — gloss black, techno black, techno gold and titanium. The anodised layer also simplifies cleaning, keeping the wheels looking as precise as the engineering beneath them.

Fitment and Compatibility

This wheel set is designed exclusively for the BMW S1000RR K46 produced between 2009 and 2018, specifically motorcycles fitted with the HP forged wheel specification. The Gass RS-A set is a direct exchange for the original HP wheels. A sprocket carrier is included in the package; the original BMW rear sprocket is not compatible and must be replaced when fitting these wheels.
