The P profile follows the Panigale's clip-on geometry rather than a general fit. Behind a fairing this tight, the difference shows in cable routing rather than in appearance.
V4 Bodywork, V2 Engine
Ducati gave the V2 the larger bike's styling, a single-sided swingarm and a wider seat. Mechanically it is a developed 959 and visually it is indistinguishable from a superbike costing twice as much.
A Hundred and Fifty-Five Horsepower
From the 955 cc Superquadro, with a flatter torque curve than the 959 managed. Ducati spent the development on usability rather than on chasing a bigger number.
Throttle Housing Only
The switch block is not included. This part covers the throttle assembly, which suits an owner whose switchgear is sound and who wants machined metal rather than moulded plastic.
Where the Sensor Reads
The bore is cut rather than formed, so the tube stays concentric and the throttle position stays honest across years of use.
Black Anodised
Converted into the metal. On a motorcycle whose fairing is already doing everything visually, a restrained cockpit component is the right answer.
Ergal 7075
Aerospace grade, roughly double the yield strength of ordinary machined aluminium. It holds a clamping face on a handlebar indefinitely.
The Last Panigale Twin
Its successor uses an entirely new engine, which makes the V2 955 the end of a line that runs back through the 959, the 899 and ultimately the 1199. That matters to some owners a great deal.
Easier Than the V4
Lighter at the front, gentler in its delivery and considerably less demanding over a full day. Riders who have owned both frequently ride the V2 more.
