The Stradale 800 takes the JP PD MV002 as its right-hand switch, machined from Ergal 7075 on a universal clamp.

One Season Only
MV launched the Stradale in 2015 with a taller screen, integrated panniers, a centre stand and softer suspension than the Rivale it was based on. The range was rationalised almost immediately afterwards and the model disappeared before it found an audience.
What It Was For
A three-cylinder Italian sport tourer with genuine luggage capacity and a chassis worth riding. The idea was sound; what defeated it was competing against machines with deeper dealer networks and considerably more development history behind them.
Very Few Survive
Production was small and there is no successor in the current range. Anyone maintaining a Stradale is working from a parts supply that was never deep, which makes correctly fitting components disproportionately valuable.
Hours on the Controls
A touring motorcycle's switchgear accumulates operations faster than a sports bike's. Modes, indicators and the display are worked repeatedly across whole days rather than in short intense bursts, and the wear is gradual enough to go unnoticed.
Universal Clamp Geometry
The plate accepts either master cylinder bolt arrangement, which matters on a bike whose owners fit bar risers, guards and mirror extensions that all crowd the same area.
Three Finishes
Black, red and titanium. On a touring machine carrying panniers and a screen, black is the option that keeps a busy cockpit from becoming busier.
Milled and Sealed
One block of Ergal 7075 with sealed switch elements. A bike bought to be ridden regardless of the forecast needs contacts that are protected rather than merely covered by a clipped-on shell.
