For the current RSV4, the JP PS AP660 is the complete left-hand switch block in machined Ergal, black or titanium.

Everything Runs Through Here
Six riding modes, three of them track-specific, each with its own traction, wheelie, engine braking and damping settings. All of it is navigated from the left bar and none of it from anywhere else.
Two Hundred and Seventeen Horsepower
The 1099 cc V4 makes its peak under Euro 5 and, more importantly, drives from six thousand in a way the previous litre engine never did. The enlargement fixed the model's one real weakness.
Telemetry on a Road Bike
The current RSV4 logs data and displays lap times as standard. It is a racing department's idea of what a superbike ought to carry, and it puts real work through the bar-mounted controls.
Black or Titanium
Both anodised through the surface. Neither carries printing, so neither has a legend that will fade or a coating that will chip when a boot catches it in a paddock.
Sealed Inside
Military-specification elements enclosed in a body cut from one block. Ingress rather than mechanical wear is what ends switchgear, and this design removes the way in.
Machined From Solid
Ergal 7075 with no two-part shell and no clipped cover. There is nothing to lose tension under the vibration a 65 degree V4 sends through a set of clip-ons.
Feel Under Braking
Two hundred metres before a corner the left hand is doing one job and has no attention spare. A control found by geometry rather than by looking is worth more than any printed legend.
Aprilia's Own Plug
Pre-wired, so the change is mechanical and reversible. Nothing is cut, coded or explained to a workshop later.
