Clip-Ons Above the Yoke
BMW mounted them high enough that the RS works for a full day without punishing anybody's wrists. It is a sports tourer that understood which half of the description matters.

Track preparation removes it for weight and ground clearance, and the switch is bolted to the bracket that leaves with it.

The eliminator is closed rather than open, so the connector it occupies stays as protected as it was with the switch fitted.

Storage Between Seasons
A bike laid up for winter with a damp connector comes out of storage with a fault it did not have in October. It is one of the more common spring complaints on any older motorcycle.
