The JP ACC MV002 is the short-stroke answer to the Brutale Dragster 800's standard throttle, built for the hand rather than for the engine and reversible in half an hour.

A Wide Rear Tyre and Short Pipes
MV built the Dragster as a styling exercise that turned out to work. The riding position is upright and the throttle response is as sharp as anything in the class.
Sixty Degrees
The grip reaches full opening in sixty degrees of rotation where the standard assembly wants considerably more. The hand ends up doing less work for the same result.
On the Road
Sixty degrees means small hand movements produce meaningful changes, which is exactly what a rider does not want in slow traffic behind a bus.
No Re-Gripping
On a bike with a long standard rotation the wrist runs out of travel and the hand has to shuffle. That shuffle is the thing this removes.
Aftermarket Bars
A different bar can change where the switchgear sits and how much room the assembly has. Worth measuring before ordering rather than after.
What It Does Not Do
No extra power, no different fuelling, no change to any rider aid. Anybody expecting the motorcycle to accelerate harder has misread the part.
What Riders Report
Less arm tension on long corner exits and a hand that stays where it was placed. Those are the two things that come up again and again.
From Cable to Measurement
The change arrived quietly across fifteen years, driven by legislation that needed the engine able to disagree with the rider. Once the link was electronic the grip stopped being a mechanism. Everything about this part follows from that, including why it needs teaching.
When Not to Fit It
On a machine used mostly in traffic, mostly two-up or mostly on gravel. The part rewards deliberate throttle use and punishes casual throttle use, and there is no setting to change that balance afterwards.
