What Comes Off
The ignition barrel, its bracket and the key that goes with it. On a machine that never leaves a circuit none of the three does anything useful.

Traction control, the maps, the quickshifter and the lights all continue exactly as before. The ignition circuit is the only one involved.

Nothing to grease, nothing to adjust and no interval. The switch is sealed and the body is a solid piece of aluminium.

Hex keys and a torque wrench that reads accurately at low settings. Nothing specialised and nothing expensive.
The Circuit It Breaks
The same one the key opened. Nothing is intercepted, nothing is emulated and the engine controller is never told anything unusual.
Who Should Not Buy It
Anybody whose motorcycle is ridden on public roads, parked out of sight, or covered by an insurance policy that assumes a working steering lock. The part is honest about being made for racing and the buyer should be too.
