The Track-Day Bike
RRs go to circuits in large numbers because the saving over an RF covered suspension work and tyres. Those are exactly the machines that end up with a shortened throttle action after a season or two.
What Changes at the Grip
A quick-action kit reduces the rotation needed to reach full throttle, often by a third. The wrist stops running out of movement mid-corner, which on clip-ons at full lean is a real limitation rather than a theoretical one.
