DescriptionThe whole story▼
Machined from aerospace-grade ERGAL 7075 aluminium, the IMA Special Parts Racing top yoke is built to an uncompromising standard that serious track riders will immediately recognise. Engineered specifically for the 2025-2026 Ducati Panigale V4, V4 S and V4 R, it delivers the geometry flexibility and structural integrity that a factory-level chassis setup demands.
Key Features
- CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075 aluminium for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio without sacrificing rigidity
- Adjustable offset ranging from 25 mm to 31 mm across four discrete settings, allowing precise chassis tuning to suit individual riding style and circuit conditions
- Offset adjustment does not alter the rake angle, preserving steering geometry integrity while changing trail
- Specially developed CNC profile reduces chattering, improves vibration damping over surface irregularities, and raises cornering precision at high speed
- Adjustable steering stops for a fully bespoke racing setup
- Available in three anodised finishes: black, titanium and aluminium
Build Quality and Materials
The choice of ERGAL 7075 aluminium is deliberate and unambiguous. This is the same alloy grade used in aerospace and high-end motorsport applications — it offers markedly higher tensile strength than the more common 6061 series while remaining genuinely lightweight. Every component is CNC-machined to tight tolerances, eliminating the inconsistencies that casting introduces and ensuring repeatable, predictable behaviour under the sustained lateral loads of track riding. The finish is clean and purposeful, available in black, titanium or natural aluminium anodising to suit the aesthetics of your Panigale build.
Geometry and Performance
IMA Special Parts developed this top yoke using current chassis dynamics research, and the results are tangible on track. The four-position offset adjustment — spanning 25 mm to 31 mm — lets you dial in trail without touching the rake angle, a critical distinction that keeps your geometry changes predictable and reversible. Reducing trail sharpens turn-in response and increases agility; increasing it adds straight-line stability at high speed. The CNC profile also addresses one of the most persistent complaints among Panigale track riders: front-end chatter. The yoke's structural design damps the micro-vibrations transmitted from the fork legs, translating into improved feedback, greater rider confidence and the ability to carry more corner speed consistently.
Setup Options
The IMA Racing top yoke is available in two configurations to suit different track programmes. The base setup uses a fixed offset for riders who prefer a stable, consistent geometry across a full race weekend. The racing setup offers the full adjustable offset range for riders who want to fine-tune the chassis between sessions or between circuits. Both versions feature adjustable steering stops.
Note: this top yoke does not support a steering lock function. It is a dedicated racing component intended exclusively for closed-circuit use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for road use. It is also not compatible with the Ducati Spray Protector Panel (code 460.1.P96.2A).
