DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Brembo PR19x18 FL GP XA7G7G0 is a direct-from-MotoGP radial master cylinder, built to the same exacting standards as the units raced by the world's fastest riders. Its CNC-machined aluminium body with hard-anodised finish delivers exceptional rigidity and resistance to wear, while keeping mass to an absolute minimum — a combination that defines what a true racing master cylinder should be.
Key Features
- CNC-machined, hard-anodised aluminium body — uncompromising structural integrity with a weight-optimised profile purpose-built for track use
- 19 mm piston diameter with 18 mm lever ratio, delivering outstanding linearity between lever input and braking force
- 90-degree remote adjuster allows precise lever span fine-tuning on the move, without interrupting your rhythm at the limit
- Folding lever included for added safety during incidents on circuit
- Compatible with DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluid, giving race teams flexibility in fluid specification
- Optional LVDT sensor upgrade available for even more precise electronic brake control integration
Construction and Performance
Every element of the PR19x18 FL GP has been engineered around the demands of premier-class motorcycle racing. The body is carved from high-grade aluminium billet using multi-axis CNC machining, then subjected to a hard-anodising process that dramatically increases surface hardness. The result is a master cylinder that resists flex, corrosion, and the cumulative thermal stress of repeated hard braking without any compromise in feel or consistency.
The 19 mm bore paired with an 18 mm lever ratio creates a precise and highly progressive braking characteristic. Riders experience an exceptionally direct relationship between finger pressure and caliper output — critical when shaving hundredths of a second under braking at the end of a straight. The 90-degree remote adjuster mechanism further refines this by letting the rider dial in lever reach at any point during a session without tools.
LVDT Sensor Upgrade
For teams running advanced electronics packages, the PR19x18 FL GP is compatible with an optional LVDT (linear variable differential transformer) sensor. This upgrade feeds real-time lever position data directly to the bike's ECU, enabling sophisticated traction control, ABS, and braking-by-wire strategies that are now standard at the very top of motorcycle sport. The sensor is not included as standard and must be ordered separately.
Important Notice — Track Use Only
The Brembo PR19x18 FL GP XA7G7G0 is designed and approved exclusively for closed-circuit racing. It carries no road-use homologation and must not be fitted to any vehicle intended for use on public roads. Specific mounting adapters may be required depending on your application; these are not included and must be sourced separately.
