DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's AGPP89 rear pad is listed for the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 from 2022 to 2025, and the Sintered (ST) version is aimed at riders who use this middleweight as a real touring machine or all-year commuter. With luggage or a passenger, more weight sits over the rear wheel, and the rear brake plays a larger part. The ST compound is designed to keep constant grip hot or cold and to keep working on a wet disc.
Key Features
- AGPP89 rear pad in Sintered (ST) compound
- For the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, 2022-2025
- Accossato: high grip that stays constant at all temperatures, good wet grip
- Suits touring with luggage or a passenger
- Dependable pedal in rain
- Two pads per box, one rear caliper
- Organic (OR) version also available
Construction and Material Quality
According to Accossato, the Sintered compound keeps a high and constant grip at low and high temperatures and grips well in the wet. For a rear brake used on tour and through the seasons, that dependability is what matters. The company also claims slow wear, fade resistance and strong stopping for its pads in general.
Small Bike, Big Trips
A Tiger Sport 660 loaded with soft bags and a passenger can cover surprisingly long distances, and many owners use it that way. On descents, a light touch on the rear brake helps keep the loaded bike settled and takes some load off the front. In rain, the rear disc stays wet from spray, and a compound built for wet grip keeps the pedal predictable. Riders who commute through winter get the same benefit on cold, damp mornings. For light solo riding in town, the OR version is gentler. Before a longer journey, it pays to fit new pads a week or two in advance: a few hundred careful stops in normal riding bed them in fully, so the brake feels settled by the time the bike is loaded. On the road, a quick look at the rear pad during a fuel stop costs nothing, and carrying a spare set on a very long trip is cheap insurance where parts may be hard to find.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP89 for the rear of the Tiger Sport 660 from 2022 to 2025. The front pad for this model is AGPA72. Before a trip, check rear pad thickness and disc condition, look at the fluid, and rinse the caliper after riding on salted roads.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE or test documentation for AGPP89ST. It is offered for competition use.
