DescriptionThe whole story▼
A tip-over in the car park rarely justifies an insurance claim. The damage to a CB750 Hornet is usually small, a bent lever, a scratched bar end, perhaps a mirror, and the cost of putting it right often falls below the excess, or a claim would cost more in lost no-claims discount than it brings. That leaves the owner to pay, and the question becomes how to keep the bill small. Honda's parallel-twin naked bike has been on sale since 2023, and for 2023 to 2026 Accossato lists the AGD207, a silver brake lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGD207 is an original-type spare for the CB750 Hornet, and its whole idea is an affordable repair. Accossato designed it for good value for money and keeps to the form of the lever it replaces, so the bike looks as it did before the damage. The company also says the way it manufactures these levers gives them more resistance after damage or a collision. It is silver. Accossato publishes no data on material or dimensions.
Below the Insurance Excess
Paying for small damage yourself makes sense when the repair stays small. The largest part of a workshop bill for a bent lever is often not the part but the time around it: booking an appointment, bringing the bike in and collecting it again. Changing a brake lever is a job most owners can do themselves with basic tools and a careful approach. Put the CB750 Hornet securely on its stand, remove the old lever and clean the pivot and its bore. Apply a light film of grease and fit the new lever. Then comes the part that must not be rushed: check that the lever moves freely and returns on its own, that it presses the master cylinder piston cleanly, and that the brake light comes on as soon as you pull it. Finally, squeeze the lever several times with the bike standing still and feel for a firm, consistent pressure point. If you are unsure about any of these steps, a workshop is still the right choice. And if the fall bent more than the lever, the handlebar or the brake reservoir for example, have the bike looked over properly.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD207 for the CB750 Hornet from 2023 to 2026, together with the silver AGS07 as the clutch lever for the same years. We also list the AGD207 for the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, the XL750 Transalp and the NC750X. Accossato's CNC levers for the CB750 Hornet are EDF018 for the brake and ESY688H for the clutch. Please compare the product photo with the lever on your bike before ordering.
Road Approval
Our documents contain no ABE or test mark for the AGD207, so it is offered for racing and competition use.
