DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is MV Agusta's flagship tourer, fitted with the semi-automatic SCS clutch that lets a rider pull away without touching the lever, a feature that makes the bike especially easy to ride at walking pace but doesn't make it any lighter to catch if balance is lost at a standstill. For the Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800 built between 2014 and 2018, Accossato's PF034 front axle sliders are there for exactly that moment.
Key Features
- Front axle sliders for the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800, 2014 to 2018
- Accossato part PF034, one protector for each side of the front wheel
- Aluminium combined with plastic, finished in black
- Spacers, screws and further mounting parts in the kit, as stated by Accossato
- Meant to touch down first if the bike tips while parking or manoeuvring
- Same PF034 part also listed for several other MV Agusta models
- No other Accossato schutzteil currently listed beyond the matching TP026 pads
- No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Black is the finish on both PF034 protectors, cast from aluminium combined with plastic, one unit per side of the front axle on this flagship tourer. Spacers, screws and whatever else Accossato considers necessary for mounting travel in the same kit. This particular MV Agusta's fork and axle dimensions aren't published in the material we have, so no bolt sizes or clearances are claimed in this listing.
Easy to Ride Slowly, Still Heavy to Catch
The SCS clutch removes one of the usual sources of a stall at low speed, letting a rider roll away smoothly without the usual coordination a manual clutch demands, but it does nothing to change how much the bike weighs once it's leaning past the point of easy recovery. A loaded touring bike this size still goes over hard if balance is lost on a camber or a loose surface, and the front end is what usually meets the ground first, whatever clever engineering sits at the other end of the clutch lever.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's fitting for the Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800 runs from 2014 to 2018; always confirm your exact year before ordering. MV Agusta carried this identical front axle into the Brutale 675, the Brutale 800 and the Stradale 800 too, a reminder that the flagship tourer shares more underneath than its touring bodywork would suggest.
Road Approval
Accossato supplies no German ABE or equivalent approval paperwork for the PF034, so we list this pair for racing and competition use on the Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800 rather than for everyday road riding.
Scope of Delivery
Two front axle sliders in black, one per side, together with the spacers, screws and other mounting parts Accossato includes for fitting.
