DescriptionThe whole story▼
KTM's 250XC-F is the cross-country four-stroke built on the same platform as the motocross 250SX-F, aimed at woods and off-road racing rather than closed circuits, and from 2009 to 2016 it takes its own clutch hose from Accossato. Supplied as a single braided line in the C layout, it comes only in stainless steel fittings, with no sibling kit listed for this code.
Key Features
- Single braided clutch hose for the 2009–2016 250XC-F
- Clutch C-layout routing, matching the original line
- Stainless steel fittings only for this part
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Shared only with the closely related 250XCF-W
Construction and Material Quality
The hose is stainless aeronautical braid closed with a stainless steel fitting at each end; there is no painted option, so the twenty sheath colours carry the whole job of varying its look. A single connection at the clutch master cylinder and another at the slave unit are all the fitting job involves.
A Cross-Country Four-Stroke's Own Clutch Code
Unlike the motocross-spec 250SX-F, which shares its clutch hose with four other SX and SX-F displacements, this cross-country XC-F sits on its own separate code, shared only with the closely related 250XCF-W variant built across the identical 2009–2016 window. No GasGas or Husqvarna model appears anywhere on this particular listing. The cross-country badge does not bring any brake-kit equivalent under this same code; Accossato lists no brake fitment alongside this clutch part for the XC-F at all. Buyers restoring either cross-country model should expect to source brake hoses under a completely separate code, since this listing covers only the clutch circuit. A workshop fitting this hose deals with just the one connection at the slave cylinder and another at the clutch master cylinder, nothing more.
Fitment and Compatibility
The 250XC-F takes this clutch hose across 2009 to 2016. Its only companion on the code is the closely related 250XCF-W, built across that identical span; nothing else, from any brand, appears on this particular fitment.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
