Fit and Freedom of Movement
IXON engineered the Demonio around a close, body-hugging fit that works with you rather than against you. The heavily pre-shaped cut keeps everything in the right place the moment you drop into position on the bike, while accordion flex zones at the ribs, shoulder blades, lower back and knees allow the suit to move as naturally as possible. These flex zones also support the deployment of a connected airbag system, making the ergonomic design a genuine safety asset as well as a comfort one.
Seamless four-way stretch inserts at the wrists, ankles and collar back reduce pressure in the most-stressed flex points during sustained riding. A redesigned forearm construction positions the zip at the rear of the arm to eliminate the pressure points that typically build up in a committed race tuck. The Lycra lining and neoprene collar comfort layer complete an interior that remains liveable over a long trackday or an extended summer ride.
Ventilation for Summer and Track Use
Targeted micro-perforations running from the knees up to the shoulders draw air through the areas that need it most during hard, warm-weather riding. Three-dimensional mesh panels at the back and thighs keep air moving across larger surface areas, while mesh protector pockets allow airflow to circulate between the body and the armour rather than trapping heat against it.
