DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Just1 J-GPR in Golden Road carbon/gold is engineered around one principle: a helmet you forget you are wearing. Four shell sizes paired with four EPP/EPS liner sizes create a genuinely tailored fit that stays comfortable across long stints on road or track, while the 3K carbon fibre shell keeps weight in check without compromising a gram of protection.
Key Features
- S.D.C. System (Sequential Density Construction) absorbs both linear and rotational impact forces through materials of varying densities — optimised protection for real-world crash mechanics
- Four shell sizes and four EPP/EPS liner sizes deliver a precise, individual fit rarely found in production helmets
- 3K carbon fibre shell: exceptional rigidity-to-weight ratio in a gloss Golden Road finish
- J.1.E.R. emergency cheek-pad removal system allows first responders to remove the helmet safely without exacerbating injury
- PROTX2 antimicrobial technology throughout the liner keeps the interior fresh across full-day rides
- Comprehensive 5-inlet / 6-outlet ventilation circuit with an integrated, vented rear spoiler for sustained airflow
- EPS-lined chin guard, removable and washable liner, hydration-pack (Camel-Bag) ready
Comfort and Fit
Where many racing helmets force a compromise between performance and wearability, the J-GPR resolves that tension through its multi-shell architecture. By manufacturing four distinct shell sizes rather than relying on thick padding to fill a single shell, Just1 ensures the structural geometry wraps closely around your head — reducing hotspots, pressure points, and the fatigue that accumulates over a full day in the saddle or a full afternoon on track. The removable liner uses PROTX2 antimicrobial treatment and pulls out for machine washing, so freshness is easy to maintain across a season.
To find your size, wrap a measuring tape approximately 1 cm above your ears around the widest point of your head and match to the table below:
- XS — 53-54 cm
- S — 55-56 cm
- M — 57-58 cm
- L — 59-60 cm
- XL — 61-62 cm
- XXL — 63 cm
Protection and Construction
UNECE 22-06 homologation confirms the J-GPR meets current European road and race safety standards. The S.D.C. system layers EPP and EPS foams of different densities so that energy from an impact is absorbed progressively rather than passed directly to the skull. The EPS-lined chin guard extends that protection to the lower face — an area that absorbs a significant proportion of real-world impacts. The double-D-ring retention system is the benchmark for helmet retention: simple, reliable, and preferred at circuit level worldwide.
Ventilation
Five intake vents channel air across the rider's head, while six exhaust outlets pull warm air out through the integrated rear spoiler. The circuit is designed to work at road speeds as well as on track, giving you genuine cooling rather than the token slot-cutting found on lesser lids.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Just1 J-GPR is a universal full-face helmet suitable for road riding and track days. It is compatible with the included Pinlock insert and ships with both a clear and a dark visor. The shell is Camel-Bag (hydration pack) prepared. Part number: 6030160801004.
