DescriptionThe whole story▼

A first season of racing is a steep learning curve, and part of it is learning how different components change the bike. For a QJMotor SRK 600 RR of 2023 used in competition, Accossato offers the AGPA177 front pad in ZXC ceramic racing. It is a ceramic compound intended for racing and gives newer racers and small teams a second racing option to compare during test and race days.

Key Features

  • AGPA177 front pads for the QJMotor SRK 600 RR, 2023
  • ZXC ceramic racing mixture, SKU AGPA177ZXC
  • Accossato: ceramic compound ideal for racing
  • For comparing compounds on test days
  • Stable once warm
  • Quick to fit in the paddock
  • Two pads for one caliper

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's short summary of ZXC is a ceramic compound ideal for racing. What that promises on the SRK 600 RR is a front brake meant to hold a stable response in the heat of a circuit session. Low wear and limited fading are part of the brief, as with every compound the brand makes.

Learning in a First Race Season

Newer racers often change many things at once and then cannot tell what made the difference. With brake pads, it pays to be methodical. Run your usual compound for a session, then fit ZXC ceramic racing with everything else unchanged, and note how the bite, lever feel and consistency compare. Keep a simple notebook with the circuit, weather, tyre pressures and pad compound for every session. Over a season this builds a picture of what works on your SRK 600 RR. Fitting pads is a basic paddock skill: clean the pistons, push them back carefully, fit the pads and pump the lever until it is firm. Bed the new pads in with several moderate stops before pushing hard. Ask more experienced racers in the paddock what they run; most are happy to share, and their notes can shorten your own learning curve considerably.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato allocates AGPA177 to the front of the SRK 600 RR (2023) and AGPA42 to its rear. The same plate is also produced as EV2 racing, the obvious comparison compound. Check the number of front calipers; each box covers one.

Road Approval

We hold no German ABE and no approval papers for AGPA177ZXC. The pads are for motorsport only.

Scope of Delivery
