DescriptionThe whole story▼

Commuting through winter on a QJMotor SRK 600 RR requires components that are not bothered by cold, rain or road salt. Accossato's AGPA42 rear pad in Sintered (ST) fits the SRK 600 RR of 2023. Designed to keep a high, even grip at low and high temperatures and to work well on wet roads, it is aimed at riders who use their sports bike all year round.

Key Features

  • AGPA42 rear pads for the QJMotor SRK 600 RR, 2023
  • Sintered (ST) mixture, SKU AGPA42ST
  • Accossato: grip stays high and constant hot or cold, works in the wet
  • Consistent on cold, wet mornings
  • Copes with road grime
  • For year-round commuting
  • One set for the rear caliper

Construction and Material Quality

For the Sintered compound, Accossato promises a high grip level that stays constant across temperatures and holds up in wet conditions. On a rear brake that sits in the spray from the rear tyre, this consistency is the main benefit. The brand also designs the pad for slow wear and fade resistance.

Winter Commuting

Winter commuting on a sports bike means cold tyres, wet roads and limited grip. Smooth, gentle braking is essential, and a little rear brake can help slow the bike without loading the front tyre too suddenly. The Sintered pad responds the same way on a cold, wet disc as on a warm one, so the rider can rely on it every morning. Road salt and grime are hard on brake components, so clean the rear caliper regularly with water, check that the pads move freely and look for corrosion on the pistons. If the pedal feels spongy, check the fluid level and bleed the brake. Replacing the pads before they are very thin helps avoid damage to the disc. In the darkest months, give yourself more distance to the vehicle ahead and brake earlier than in summer; a consistent rear pad supports that calm style, but it cannot replace it. Store the bike somewhere dry overnight if you can, so the disc does not rust between rides.

Fitment and Compatibility

On the 2023 SRK 600 RR, AGPA42 is Accossato's rear plate and AGPA177 its front plate. For dry-weather riding, the Organic (OR) version of the rear plate is available too. One box covers the rear caliper.

Road Approval

No German ABE is available for AGPA42ST, and we hold no test certificate. It is offered for racing use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered rear pads for one caliper.
