DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato lists its AGPA92 rear pad for the Triumph Rocket III Roadster from 2010 to 2018 in the EV2 racing compound too. On a heavy cruiser this is a specialist option. EV2 is designed for track use, where brakes are used very hard and get very hot. It suits only a Roadster that is taken onto closed circuits or to competition events, and it is not the right rear pad for everyday road riding.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls EV2 a top racing compound. It delivers its strongest bite at high temperatures and is built to keep working through a long, demanding session. On a cold road it is less effective, which is why the everyday compounds are a better fit for normal riding.
Honest Guidance
If you ride your Roadster on public roads, choose one of the road compounds for this plate. If, however, you take the bike to a closed-circuit event, the rear brake of such a heavy machine can get very hot, and a compound designed for racing temperatures is built for that. In that case EV2 is the option to consider. Warm the pads up before relying on them and check them after each session for wear and glazing. A heavy bike can wear through racing pads faster than a lighter one, so measure the remaining material before every outing rather than trusting a visual glance.
Paddock Preparation
Clean the caliper and pistons, use fresh fluid and fit both pads. Pump the pedal until it is firm, then bed the pads in during the first session with progressively harder stops. Keep the disc free of oil and grease at all times.
Fitment and Compatibility
In Accossato's application data this rear plate is tied to the Rocket III 2300 Roadster over the 2010 to 2018 production span. At the other end of the bike the catalogue names AGPA58. Since the Roadster has only one rear caliper, one box of EV2 is a complete rear set, and a spare box in the van is sensible for a weekend of hard use.
Road Approval
AGPA92EV2 has no ABE or German approval paperwork in our files. It is sold strictly for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
