The Practical MV
Integrated panniers, semi-active suspension on the Lusso, a proper screen and a 110 hp triple. The Turismo Veloce is the motorcycle MV Agusta makes for people who actually want to go somewhere, and it is consistently underrated for that reason.
The SCS and Its Automatic Clutch
Some versions use a Rekluse centrifugal clutch, which lets the bike be stopped in gear without pulling the lever. On a heavy sport tourer in traffic that is more useful than it sounds, and MV was unusually early to it.
Lettering That Survives Contact
The logo is milled into the aluminium and anodised with the body. On a touring machine covering serious mileage, the rider's hand is against this component for more hours than on any sports bike, and applied graphics would not last.
Hours Rather Than Laps
A shorter throttle cam on a tourer is about wrist angle across a long day rather than about corner exits. Less rotation to reach cruising position means less strain, and it accumulates over hundreds of kilometres.
Mechanical, Electronics Untouched
Cable throttle, original cables retained. On a bike carrying semi-active suspension, cruise control and a full rider aid package, leaving all of it undisturbed is worth stating plainly.

The unmarked version is listed separately. On a cockpit already carrying a large display and a navigation mount, that is often the calmer choice.
An Automatic Clutch on a Tourer
The SCS versions use a Rekluse centrifugal clutch that lets the bike be held stationary in gear without the lever. MV was early to fit one to a sport tourer, and in traffic it is considerably more useful than the specification sheet conveys.
