The JP CJP 012D sits between the Street Glide Flhx's loom and its injectors with a map the owner writes, and unplugs to leave the motorcycle entirely standard.

The Batwing
Harley's frame-mounted fairing has been essentially the same shape for fifty years, and the Street Glide is the best selling motorcycle in America because of it.
Why It Costs More Than the Module
The cheaper unit ships with a curve somebody else worked out. This one ships empty and expects an owner with software, a plan and preferably somewhere to measure the result.
The Injectors Are Standard
No hardware is replaced. The unit works with the fuel system the factory fitted and extends the injector opening time, which is all it needs to do.
The Standard Controller Keeps Watching
Its protections, its limiter and its rider aids all continue to operate. Nothing about the added map disables anything the factory built in.
Cell Blending
A correction in one cell affects its neighbours through interpolation. Maps that look smooth on screen feel smooth on the road, and jagged ones announce themselves immediately.
The Empty Map
Every cell at zero, the motorcycle running its factory mixture, and nothing changed until the owner decides otherwise. It is the safest starting condition any tuning product can offer.
Vibration
Electronics on a motorcycle fail from shaking rather than from getting wet. A body secured flat against a surface outlives one hanging on its own harness.
Against a Full Remap
A reflash reaches ignition and the rider aids and is written into the motorcycle. This is narrower, reversible and belongs to whoever owns the box.
What Changes on the Road
Nothing dramatic. The hesitation off a closed throttle disappears, the surge at a steady speed goes, and the engine answers the same way on every corner exit. Good mapping is felt as an absence.
