The JP CJP 172D is the programmable half of JetPrime's fuel range for the Leoncino 250, written over USB with their own software and reversible in a minute.

A Single, Not a Twin
The smallest Leoncino uses a 250 cc single, which is a completely different engine from its larger siblings despite the shared name.
A Winter Project
Most owners write their first useful map over several sessions rather than in one afternoon. Anybody expecting a finished result on the first evening has misjudged the work.
Diagnostics Stay Honest
The standard controller keeps its own fault memory and its own adaptations. A workshop reads the motorcycle rather than reading somebody's tuning session.
Reversible Means Reversible
Unplug the unit, mate the original connectors and every trace is gone. Nothing was written to the motorcycle and nothing needs restoring.
Safety Margin
Map slightly rich where the engine works hardest. The power difference is negligible and the consequence of being wrong in the other direction is not.
Weather
A map developed cold runs slightly rich when it is hot. The standard controller absorbs most of that; the remainder is the accepted cost of a fixed map.
What the Dealer Sees
An additional box under the seat. It unplugs in minutes, and most owners remove it before an appointment and reconnect it the same evening.
The Standard Sensor Still Trims
In the closed-loop region the factory oxygen sensor keeps correcting. Understanding where that region ends is essential, because inside it the map has less authority than the mapper expects.
What Changes on the Road
Nothing dramatic. The hesitation off a closed throttle disappears, the surge at a steady speed goes, and the engine answers the same way on every corner exit. Good mapping is felt as an absence.
