The JP ES 007 replaces the secondary air solenoid on the Monster 1200 R with a sealed connector that keeps the instrument panel clear and the fault memory genuinely empty.

Ohlins and Brembo

Where the Crackle Comes From
Residue igniting in a hot header on a trailing throttle. It is not the fuelling and it is not the silencer, and no map has ever cured it.
The Warning Returns
Clearing the code with a reader works until the next ignition cycle, when the self-test runs again and finds the same open circuit.
Scrutineering
A lit fault indicator reads as an unresolved problem at the gate whatever caused it, and explaining takes longer than fitting the part would have.
The Rider Never Controls It
There is no switch, no menu and no indication the valve exists. Most owners first hear of it when an exhaust change makes its consequences audible.
Checked Before It Runs
The self-test happens as the ignition comes on rather than while riding, so any problem with the fitment shows itself in the garage.
On a Bike Being Sold
Refitting the original valve takes ten minutes and hands the next owner a motorcycle with nothing to explain. The parts take up almost no space.
Why It Costs More Than a Resistor
A resistor and some heatshrink will produce the same electrical result for a fraction of the money, and it will work until water finds the crimp or vibration finds the joint. The difference here is a potted body with the correct connector moulded on, sitting in one of the hottest and wettest parts of the motorcycle for the rest of its life.
Fitted at a Service, Not Between Ones
The tank has to come off for several routine jobs, and the eliminator takes twenty minutes once it is off. Doing this at the same time as a filter, a coolant change or a set of belts is straightforward; doing it on its own is an evening spent almost entirely on bodywork.
