DescriptionThe whole story▼
Deep ruts are part of any wet enduro in the woods. After a few dozen riders have gone through, a trail between the trees can turn into a single groove with slick walls on both sides. On a Beta RR 350 4T the engine pulls steadily enough to drive through, but staying in the rut is a matter of balance, and that balance comes from the feet. Accossato's enlarged footpegs made of Ergal suit the RR 350 4T of 2020 to 2026 and are available in orange, blue or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato gives these footpegs a brief description: enlarged, made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. Enlarged means the boot has a broader area to rest on than with the standard pegs, which is what a rider needs when balancing the RR 350 4T through the feet in a confined groove. The pegs come as a set of two, one per side, and share the colour you select. Beyond that the part is simple, and we will not describe details Accossato has not given.
Holding the Line in a Rut
The standard advice for ruts is to stand, look far ahead along the groove and keep the bike as upright as possible, with the weight slightly back so the front wheel can find its own way. Steering with the handlebar is kept to a minimum; small corrections come from the feet, by loading one peg or the other. A steady throttle keeps the rear wheel driving and the front light, whereas snapping the throttle shut makes the front dig in and climb the wall of the rut.
In a very deep rut, the footpegs themselves can drag along the walls. When a peg catches, it folds up, and the boot on it may be knocked off at the worst possible moment. Keeping the RR 350 4T upright is the main defence, and a broader peg gives the foot a surer place to return to if it has been jolted. After a muddy loop, look at the pegs as well: clay packed around the pivot slows their return, and it is worth clearing before the next test.
Fitment and Compatibility
The RR 350 4T is listed by Accossato for 2020 to 2026, and those years are linked to this product. No other Accossato footpeg is listed for it; in our shop the same set also appears for the RR 390 4T, the RR 430 4T and the RR 300 2T. Fit the pegs with the original pins and springs if they are still in good shape, and check the brake pedal afterwards, because with a larger peg the right boot may meet the pedal differently.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no test mark are available for this set. We supply it for competition use.
