DescriptionThe whole story▼
The left hand on a Bonneville T120 does more than work the clutch. The thumb operates the indicators, the horn and the headlamp flasher, and the fingers have to find the lever in between. A clutch lever set at the wrong distance forces the hand to shift back and forth between the two jobs. The Accossato EST333P is a machined aluminium clutch lever for the 2016 to 2019 T120 with an adjustable reach, so you can place the blade where fingers and thumb can work at the same time.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Bonneville T120, model years 2016 to 2019
- Mounts at the original clutch mounting
- Distance to the grip adjustable
- Machined from aluminium and anodised; black hub
- Seven colours, three lengths, standard approximately 138 mm
- Fixed one-piece blade
Construction and Material Quality
The EST333P is CNC-machined from aluminium and anodised in two tones. The hub, in black, holds the pivot and the reach adjuster, while the blade takes the colour: orange, black, silver, gold, blue, green or red. As a fixed design without a hinge, the lever moves only around its pivot, and the take-up point of the clutch stays in one place. The anodised surface is hard and even and will not chip off like paint, which suits a bike built to be looked at as closely as the T120.
Lever and Switches Within One Reach
When setting up a clutch lever, most people think only about the fingers. Try it with the thumb as well. Sit on the T120 in your riding gloves, rest your fingers on the blade and see whether the thumb still reaches the indicator switch and the horn without the hand sliding off the grip. If the lever stands too far out, the hand opens wide and the thumb loses the switches; too close, and the fingers may touch the blade while you signal. The adjuster on the EST333P lets you find the setting where both work together. Length plays a part here too. The long blade, available in gold, green, orange and blue, lets the fingers take the clutch further from the pivot, which lowers the effort, while the standard length keeps the lever compact beside the switch housing.
Fitment and Compatibility
The EST333P is listed for the Bonneville T120 from 2016 to 2019. It does not appear for the later T120, even though the EDF014 brake lever for the same bike continues from 2021 to 2024, so owners of a newer T120 can fit only the brake lever. The EST333P replaces the original lever at the stock clutch mounting. The T120 Black of 2016 to 2019 is offered as a separate product with the same clutch lever.
Road Approval
This lever has no documented German ABE; we therefore sell it for the track.
