DescriptionThe whole story▼
Green, white and red: the Tricolore version of the Panigale 1199 wears the colours of the Italian flag, and even the standard bike is unmistakably Italian. A clutch lever from Accossato, a company based in Villastellone near Turin, fits that picture well. The ESH011 replaces the original clutch lever of the Panigale 1199 from 2012 to 2016, the Tricolore included. It is machined from aluminium, anodised with a black hub and a coloured blade, adjustable in reach and made in three lengths.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Panigale 1199 and 1199 Tricolore, 2012 to 2016
- Seven blade colours, including green and red
- Reach adjustable to the hand
- Three lengths, standard at approximately 138 mm
- Machined aluminium, anodised, with a black hub
- Fixed blade without folding joint
- Replaces the lever on the original clutch mounting; boxed
Construction and Material Quality
The ESH011 is produced by CNC machining and then anodised. The hub, which contains the pivot bore and the reach adjuster, is always black, while the blade takes one of seven colours. The anodised colour is part of the aluminium surface, so it will not chip on the edges the way a painted lever can. The blade and hub form one rigid unit, which keeps the take-up of the clutch consistent.
Green, White and Red
Owners of a Tricolore sometimes like to carry its colours into the cockpit, and the Accossato range makes that possible in a subtle way. A green ESH011 on the clutch side and a red EDF099 on the brake side echo the flag across the handlebar. White is not among Accossato's colours; silver is the closest light tone if you want to hint at it. If your Panigale 1199 is red, a red pair is the obvious choice, and a black pair is the understated one.
The colour choice also decides the lengths available. Red is made only as a standard lever on both sides, while green comes in short, standard and long. That matters on the clutch, where the length changes the effort: a long blade gives the fingers more leverage and a lighter pull at every stop and start, a short one gives a firmer pull and a more compact look. For a bike that also sees town traffic, standard or long is the comfortable choice.
Fitment and Compatibility
The ESH011 is Accossato's clutch lever for the Panigale 1199 from 2012 to 2016, with the Tricolore named in the same entry. It fits in place of the original lever on the clutch mounting. The brake lever for these bikes in Accossato's range is the EDF099.
Road Approval
No German ABE is documented for the ESH011, so it is offered for track use only.
Scope of Delivery
