DescriptionThe whole story▼
This black anodised radial brake master cylinder combines a 19 mm piston for dual-disc front brakes with a clamp built for 1-inch, 25.4 mm handlebars rather than the 22 mm diameter used on most sportsbikes, and it carries a German ABE, number 61454, making it street-legal when the ABE document is carried with the bike. The PRS pivot distance adjusts between 17, 18 and 19 mm, and it ships as a complete kit with a smoke-grey oil reservoir and all mounting hardware for the wider bar clamp.

Construction and Material Quality
Machined from solid billet aluminium and anodised black, this master cylinder's clamp is built specifically for 1-inch, 25.4 mm handlebars, a detail that sets it apart from the 22 mm-bar RB090 in the same ABE-approved family. It is supplied as a complete kit, including a smoke-grey oil reservoir with a black cylinder body and all the mounting hardware required, for a quicker and easier installation. Zinc-plated steel bolts and an off-set bracket clamp, sized for the larger bar diameter, make up the rest of the fitting hardware.
A Big-Bar Master Cylinder That Is Still Road-Legal
The 19 mm piston on this unit is sized for double-disc braking systems, the same specification as Accossato's standard-bar 19 mm master cylinders, and the PRS pivot distance adjusts across the same 17, 18 and 19 mm range, trading hand force for a shorter stroke as the offset increases. What makes this version distinct is the 1-inch, 25.4 mm clamp diameter, aimed at cruisers and larger-bar machines, combined with the German ABE 61454 approval that most big-bar brake hardware on the market does not carry, allowing it to be used legally on German roads with the ABE document on hand.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only a handful of machines take this particular master cylinder: the BMW R18, the Harley-Davidson NIGHTSTER, four variants of the Indian FTR 1200 (standard, R Carbon, Rally and Sport) and the earlier FTR 1200S, seven listings in total. Exact years for each sit in the Fitment tab on this page, worth checking against your registration papers, and your handlebar should measure 25.4 mm rather than the usual 22 mm. A nickel-plated version of the same body is its own separate product.
Road Approval
This master cylinder carries a German ABE, number 61454, making it street-legal for use in Germany; the ABE document must be carried with the motorcycle.
