DescriptionThe whole story▼
The earliest CB650F, sold in 2015 without ABS, takes this three-hose Accossato kit built to the Full-length layout, with each hose running independently from its master cylinder to the caliper it serves. It is a different part entirely from the six-hose Standard kit Accossato lists for the later, ABS-equipped 2017-2018 version of the same model name, so the two years should never be assumed to share a part number when ordering replacement hoses for either one of them.
Key Features
- Three-hose Full-length (F) kit for the launch-year CB650F
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Each hose runs independently from the master cylinder to its own caliper
- Built for the non-ABS version of the launch-year bike
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
A tight stainless mesh over the pressure line makes up each of the three hoses here, and the end fitting on this particular application can be left bare or specified in red, green, blue, black or gold stainless. That full twenty-colour sheath range matches exactly what the later, ABS-equipped version of this Honda also offers.
An Early Model Year, a Different Circuit
Honda's 2015 CB650F predates the ABS hardware fitted from 2017, which is why this launch-year bike needs only three hoses under a Full-length layout rather than the six-hose Standard kit the later version uses. Riders should check their exact model year carefully, since the two kits for this model name are not interchangeable and fitting the wrong one will leave part of the brake circuit without a line at all, front or rear, on either generation of this sportsbike.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Honda CB650F sold in 2015 without ABS. Accossato also lists a six-hose Standard kit (AGF2029) for the ABS-equipped 2017-2018 version of the same model name; confirm the exact year and ABS fitment against the Fitment tab before ordering either of these two separate parts for your particular machine.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
3 braided hoses for the Full-length layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
