DescriptionThe whole story▼
The FE 450 is one of two big-bore engines topping Husqvarna's four-stroke enduro range, built for riders who want stronger power delivery than the smaller models offer, and the 2014–2016 bikes share their brake hose kit with the rest of the FE and TE family. Two braided hoses cover the front and rear circuit in the same S-pattern layout the bike left the factory with, nothing rerouted.
Key Features
- Two-hose set for the 2014–2016 FE 450, front and rear
- Standard S-layout routing
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Shared part number with the big-bore FE 501 and the smaller FE/TE range
Construction and Material Quality
Both hoses carry a stainless braid sheath and can be ordered with either plain stainless steel fittings or fittings painted in one of five finishes, alongside twenty sheath colour options for the braid. That wider fitting choice is specific to this earlier FE 450; later model years move to a stainless-only kit instead, narrowing the finish options.
A Big-Bore Engine on Shared Hardware
Because the FE 450 and its 501 sibling use an identical brake hose pattern in this period, Accossato lists them under the same part number as the smaller FE 250 and 350, plus the two-stroke TE 125, TE 300 and the 2016 TE 250. Buyers sometimes assume the bigger engine needs its own heavier-duty hose, but the 450 and the 501 above it run the exact same two-piece kit under the exact same part number. A 2017 or 2025–2026 FE 450 needs the rear-only kit instead, and a 2018–2020 bike needs a different two-hose part again, built just for that window.
Fitment and Compatibility
The 2014–2016 FE 450 takes this kit, which Accossato also lists for the FE 250, FE 350 and FE 501 of the same years, as well as the two-stroke TE 125, TE 250 and TE 300. For an FE 450 from 2017 or 2025 onward, switch to the rear-only AGA0282; for 2018–2020, switch to AGF3015.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
