Spark builds the Euro5+ Daytona system in two silencer finishes. This is the dark one: the Moto GP silencer in Spark's dark style, sitting behind the same AISI 304 collector and pre-silencer box the stainless version uses. The contrast is deliberate — a bare brushed collector running back into a silencer that stays matte.
Key Features
- Euro5+ homologated full system for the Triumph Daytona 660, 2025 to 2026.
- Moto GP silencer in dark style.
- Collector and pre-silencer box in AISI 304 stainless steel, left bare.
- Racing catalytic converter with a heavy noble-metal loading.
- Header length and diameter reworked for the Euro5+ engine.
- Same list price as the titanium-silencer version, GTR8829TOM.
Where the Dark Sits
Worth being precise, because Spark's Triumph range carries three different treatments and the names run close together. The dark style is applied to the silencer alone. The collector and the pre-silencer box in front of it keep their bare stainless surface.
That is not the same thing as Spark's Black Series, where the coating runs the full visible length and the headers go black as well — on the Trident and Tiger Sport that version is GTR8830BOM, and it costs noticeably more. What you get here is a bare collector under the fairing and a dark silencer where the eye actually lands. If you want the whole system black, this is not the article.
Two Finishes, One Price
Spark lists the dark silencer and the titanium one at identical money. There is no premium for the finish and no discount either, which takes the usual price-signal argument off the table and leaves the decision where it belongs: what the bike looks like with it fitted.
Bare titanium moves. It takes on a straw-to-blue tint near the hottest section within the first few thousand kilometres, and plenty of owners buy the material for exactly that. The dark silencer does not do this. In year three it looks the way it looked in the crate — the point, or the drawback, depending on what you are after.
Unchanged Underneath
The finish is the only difference. Same collector geometry, same pre-silencer box, same racing catalytic converter with the heavy noble-metal loading that lets Spark clear Euro5+ while still claiming a gain over the standard system. The headers are the reworked ones, different in length and diameter from the pre-Euro5+ parts rather than carried across.
No ECU Work
Spark developed the configuration to run on the standard mapping. No flash, no piggyback, no fuelling module — and that holds for both finishes equally.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Daytona 660, 2025 through 2026. Spark also states that the Euro5+ system is approved for and compatible with the Trident 660; our fitment follows the dealer price list, which enters it under the Daytona. If you ride a Euro5+ Trident and want this system, ask us and we will check the approval against your papers before you order.
The titanium-silencer version of this exact system is GTR8829TOM. For the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660 of the same years the equivalents are GTR8830IOM and GTR8830BOM in the 60's design, GTR8831TOM and GTR8831DOM in Moto GP. The racing titanium alternative, without homologation, is GTR8832T.
Road Approval
Euro5+ homologated. Road legal as supplied, with no modification to the ECU.
