Certified to EN 17092-2:2020 Class AAA — the highest standard in motorcycle protective clothing — the Spidi DP-Progressive in Blue/Grey is engineered without compromise for track and competition riding. Co-developed with designer Aldo Drudi, this one-piece leather suit channels the aesthetics and protection philosophy of MotoGP into a suit that serious riders can wear every session.

- Ready for Level 1 and Level 2 back protector and Level 1 chest protector (not included)
- Aerodynamic seat cowl for high-speed stability and authentic racing profile
- Partially perforated cowhide leather panels for sustained airflow during warm-weather track sessions
- Adjustable and replaceable knee sliders for circuit use
- Removable mesh inner lining for straightforward cleaning after intensive use
Class AAA Safety — Built for the Track
The Blue/Grey colourway of the DP-Progressive carries the same AAA-class certification as every suit in the range, meeting EN 17092-2:2020 in full. That certification demands exceptional abrasion, impact, and seam-burst resistance across the entire garment — not just the obvious impact zones.
CE-certified Warrior protectors are fitted at the shoulders and elbows, while integrated knee armour meets EN 1621-1:2012. Hip protection is included as standard. Two optional upgrades are already catered for: the back protector pocket accommodates both Level 1 and Level 2 inserts, and a chest protector pocket is ready for a Level 1 insert — giving riders the freedom to dial in their protection spec to suit their riding style and circuit demands.

Premium Materials for Maximum Resistance
The outer shell is constructed from cowhide leather at 1.2/1.3 mm thickness — tanned and dyed in Italy — chosen for its balance of abrasion resistance and suppleness under sustained use. Flex Tenax Nylon 6.6 panels add elasticity and additional abrasion resistance in high-flex zones, while accordion stretch inserts across key articulation points ensure the suit moves with the rider rather than against them. Neoprene inserts at the collar and contact points reduce pressure and chafing during long stints.
- Cowhide leather: 1.2/1.3 mm thickness, Italian tanned and dyed
- Flex Tenax Nylon 6.6 for elasticity and abrasion resistance
- Accordion stretch zones for unrestricted movement in the riding position
- Neoprene inserts for comfort at collar and contact zones
- Partially perforated leather for thermal management
Ventilation and Comfort
Perforated leather sections across the suit create consistent airflow during high-intensity track sessions, preventing heat build-up when ambient temperatures rise. The removable mesh inner lining can be extracted for cleaning independently of the outer shell — a practical feature for riders using the suit across multiple trackday weekends. The breathable construction keeps sessions comfortable even as intensity increases.
Track-Focused Engineering
Every detail of the DP-Progressive has been developed with circuit performance in mind. The aerodynamic seat cowl stabilises the rider's profile at high speed and references the look of factory MotoGP machinery. A routing channel is integrated for a hydration system tube, and the suit is prepared to accept a Hydroback hydration system — an important consideration during endurance sessions. Adjustable sliders at the knees and elbows allow riders to set up the suit precisely for their preferred line through corners, and flexible material in the lower leg section aids movement through the full range of riding positions.
- Aerodynamic seat cowl for high-speed stability
- Hydroback hydration system preparation with integrated tube routing
- Adjustable sliders at knees and elbows
- Flexible lower leg material for full range of motion
Ergonomics and Fit
The close-contact racing cut places the suit in the correct position for a committed sporting riding posture, keeping all protection elements precisely where they need to be whether the rider is tucked behind the screen or braking hard for a hairpin. Accordion stretch panels complement the anatomical shaping without sacrificing the structured feel expected from a competition-grade leather suit. Average weight is approximately 5.0 kg.
