An STREET TWIN gets ridden gently through town and hard when the road opens. Here the shape is the N007, drawn for the Nissin caliper and measuring 101.5 by 39.0 mm. What the N007 carries is EX Race: a ceramic sinter tuned for proportionality over attack.

Construction and Material Quality
Manufacture is Japanese and unchanged across the range, the N007 included. The ceramic content is what lets the N007 form a protective film on an STREET TWIN disc instead of abrading it. Both details exist so the N007 keeps its pressure distribution honest as it wears down.
Performance and Feel
Riders moving to EX Race from an OEM organic pad usually describe the STREET TWIN's brake as becoming quieter rather than stronger. In exchange for a modest first bite the N007 gives the same bite on the tenth stop as on the first. And the N007 does it without making the STREET TWIN feel like a race bike in traffic.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the STREET TWIN of 2016 to 2018 the N007 is the shape ZCOO lists. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 101.5 mm length and 39.0 mm height. The same N007 shape covers 70 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. The reference is a front pad; ZCOO lists no rear equivalent.
Road Approval
No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
