Zontes builds several motorcycles around its 699 cc triple, and they do not all breathe through the same element. The 703RR sportbike, the 703R ETC naked and the 703T ETC tourer share SM300S. The 703F, with the same engine under an adventure body, takes a different code entirely. That is the logic of filter numbering in a single family: Sprint Filter cuts elements for housings, and a housing follows the frame and bodywork a manufacturer draws around an engine, not the engine itself. For a 703RR owner it means ordering by code, never by engine.

A sportbike's airbox, used on the road
A fully faired sportbike promises the track and spends most of its life on public roads, and the P08 is made for exactly that mix: road and track in one weave, without committing to either extreme. It does not make a standard 703RR stronger — no element in an unmodified airbox does — but it keeps intake restriction where it started, because it is cleaned back to condition instead of loading up until a paper panel is finally changed. Roughly twice the filtering area helps between cleans, since the same collected dirt lies thinner and takes longer to become resistance.
The other two media for this housing
Sprint Filter also lists a P14 nonwoven and the P08 F1-85 racing weave for the 703RR. The P14 filters far finer at 14 µm and gives up flow for it, which suits dusty everyday air better than a sportbike's usual Sunday. The F1-85 goes the other way, a coarser weave with three times the flow at a little over twice the price, and it only pays off on a track-focused machine that is cleaned after hard sessions. For most RRs, most of the time, the element on this page is the right one.
Care and cleaning
Compressed air, applied to the clean face and worked outwards, removes the dry share of what SM300S collects. For sticky residue use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and rinse until the water runs clear. Dry it at room temperature in moving air, never with a heat gun, radiator or flame, and refit it dry without any treatment. The maintenance sheet is in the Downloads tab.
