Signs it needs replacing
Flaps are opened and closed with gloves on, sometimes on the move, and that is what wears them. Look for a flap that drops open on its own, a click that has gone soft, or a mounting lug with a crack. Any of those is a reason to replace it before it comes off at speed.
Before you order
Take the number from the old flaps. VE03254 means DWR; VE03253 is DWB. The spoiler that carries these codes is VE03204. Shark provides no written finish name for DWR, so the code on the part is the reference. Plainer flaps exist as VE03250 and VE03251. The Aeron GP match is derived from the VE03 series.
