For the RSV4 Factory the JP PD AP009 is the milled replacement for the right-hand controls, on a clamp pattern that fits either master cylinder.

Öhlins and Forged Wheels
The Factory designation on this generation brought Öhlins front and rear, a steering damper from the same supplier and forged aluminium wheels. Aprilia charged for it and the difference on a circuit justified the charge.
Geometry You Can Change
Headstock angle, engine height and swingarm pivot position are all adjustable on the Factory. Almost no other road superbike offers this, and it exists because the racing department wanted a bike it could adapt to a track.
The Cockpit Aprilia Did Not Redesign
Suspension, wheels and brakes were all upgraded for the Factory. The switchgear stayed exactly as it was on the base bike, which is why it is the component that stands out once everything around it has been improved.
Either Master Cylinder
The universal hole pattern accommodates the original clamp and the radial units most Factory owners eventually fit. One part number covers both, which avoids the usual problem of ordering the wrong one.
Sealed Against the Wash Bay
The switch elements are enclosed within the machined body. Contacts on a track bike almost never wear out mechanically; they corrode after a pressure washer found the joint in a moulded housing.
Three Finishes
Black, red and titanium. Against the Factory's gold fork legs, titanium reads as deliberate where black simply disappears, and both are more considered than the original grey plastic.
Straight Onto the Loom
The connector is Aprilia's own. Nothing is cut, nothing is extended and no error appears when the ignition is switched on, which matters on a bike whose electronics monitor rather more than they used to.
