The JP ACC HO027 replaces the CBR1000RR Fireblade's throttle assembly with a short-stroke unit that reaches full opening in sixty degrees instead of the rotation the factory chose.

The Last of the Old Fireblades
Before the RR-R arrived, Honda's superbike was the lightest thing in the class and the least intimidating. The 2017 revision brought ride-by-wire and the electronics package that came with it.
What Is in the Box
The throttle assembly itself. Grips, bar ends and switchgear are the rider's own and carry over from the standard unit.
Why Sixty and Not Less
Below about sixty the hand runs out of useful resolution and small inputs become unusable. It is a chosen figure rather than the shortest possible one.
Scrutineering
Nothing here affects a technical inspection at a circuit. The assembly is a standard-looking part in a standard position doing a standard job.
Where the Connector Sits
Usually under the assembly on the inboard side, reached once the switchgear is loosened. It unclips rather than unbolting.
Riding Position Comes First
Bar height, lever angle and grip diameter all affect how a throttle feels. Changing the assembly before those are right solves the wrong problem.
Two Screws and a Connector
That is genuinely all that holds the assembly to the motorcycle. The work is short and the care goes into the reassembly rather than the removal.
What Electronic Control Changed
For most of motorcycling the right grip pulled a cable and the rider felt the spring, the friction and the air through their hand. Electronic control cut that link and turned the grip into an instrument. Better by almost every measure, and it took away the feedback riders had always used.
Nothing to Maintain
No interval, no lubrication and no adjustment. Fitted correctly it is the last throttle assembly the motorcycle needs, which is a reasonable thing to expect from a machined component doing a simple job.
