The JP ACC DU020 fits the Diavel V4 in place of the moulded throttle unit and reaches wide open in sixty degrees of rotation rather than the factory's more generous sweep.

Four Cylinders in the Cruiser
Ducati replaced the twin with the Granturismo V4 and the character changed completely. It revs where the old one shoved, and the throttle became a control that rewards precision.
Sixty Degrees
The grip reaches full opening in sixty degrees of rotation where the standard assembly wants considerably more. The hand ends up doing less work for the same result.
Keeping the Standard Unit
It is the part an inspection, a dealer or a buyer will ask for. Bagged with its fasteners it goes back on in half an hour.
Reversible in Half an Hour
The standard assembly refits with its own hardware, and the reset routine is run once more. There is nothing to undo beyond that.
What Actually Wears Out
The standard tube runs in a moulded bore and the pair slowly develop play. It is a slow failure and most owners never identify it as one.
Commuting
Stop-start traffic asks for tiny, repeatable inputs at low speed, which is the one thing a shortened rotation makes harder rather than easier.
Adaptation, Not Calibration
Nothing inside the part is adjustable. The routine teaches the controller about the part rather than teaching the part about the motorcycle.
Storing What Comes Off
Plastic will not corrode but the connector will. The standard assembly belongs in a labelled bag on a dry shelf with its fasteners, kept with the motorcycle. A reversible change is only reversible if somebody can find the parts.
In the Wet
Less rotation for the same opening leaves less room for a cold, wet hand to be gentle. The riding mode helps and the mechanical ratio does not care about the weather. It is the clearest argument for keeping the standard assembly reachable.
