A Retro Bike on a Circuit
It sounds like a contradiction and it is not. The Superveloce's chassis and engine are the F3's, unmodified, which means it is as quick as a supersport machine and simply looks like something from 1968 while doing it.
An Unintended Improvement
A cockpit with fewer controls on it is arguably more faithful to the era the motorcycle references than the standard arrangement. That is a side effect of a functional decision rather than the reason for it, and owners tend to appreciate it anyway.
What Comes Off
Indicators and horn, and the positions they held. On a housing this small, freeing two positions makes a genuine difference to how far apart the remaining controls sit and how reliably a gloved thumb finds them.
Standard Wiring
MV's own connector and the factory ECU. No aftermarket harness is required, the maps and traction levels continue to work, and the conversion reverses completely by refitting the standard cluster.
Sold Out in Advance
The Serie Oro run was allocated before the bikes were built and the standard version has been oversubscribed since. These are motorcycles their owners were determined to have, which is why modifications to them are chosen carefully.
Sealed Construction
Sealed switch elements inside a body milled from one block. Track use means hot washing after every session, and there is no moulded joint here for the water to use.
Black Anodised
A single finish, converted into the surface. Against the Superveloce's period paintwork it stays quiet, which is what a cockpit component on this motorcycle should do.
